It is with sadness that we share the news of the demise of Sr. Masuma Munir Tarbhai  who passed away in Toronto on February 17, 2022.

Salāt al-Mayyit will be at the Jaffari Community Centre today Friday, February 18, 2022 at 1:30 pm . Thereafter, burial will be at Wadi Al Salaam, Al Hussain Foundation (10992 Kennedy Road, Markham) .

Marhuma was the wife of Munir G. R. Tarbhai. She was daughter of Hussein and Laila Kassam (Mombasa). Marhuma was sister of Amir Kassam (Brunei), Shelina Ladha (Arusha), Sukaina Kassam (Mombasa) and Shamim Nanji (Nairobi)
